Open letter to the Ministry of Social Affairs - 10 points for Hof
Last year, the city of Hof wrote to the Ministry of Social Affairs about the particular challenges regarding the social and economic situation in Hof and asked for further support. "So far, there has been no concrete response, which reinforces our concerns regarding the social situation in Hof," says Mayor Eva Döhla.
Despite constructive contact with the former Minister of Culture, Dr. Michael Piazolo, who promised additional support at short notice, the city of Hof continues to face pressing challenges and is therefore once again turning to the Ministry of Social Affairs, as the challenges do not fall solely within the remit of the Ministry of Culture.
Together with representatives from various institutions, who are all part of the round table on the topic of school leavers without qualifications, a 10-point plan has been drawn up that succinctly summarizes the most pressing challenges and possible solutions. "We deliberately opted for an open letter to make our efforts transparent," says Eva Döhla.
