Continuing education

A wide range of subsidies are available for continuing vocational training for employees, job seekers and employees in companies. The decisive factor here is that the subsidy is applied for and approved before the start of further training, as subsidies cannot be granted retrospectively.

Center for Languages and Intercultural Competence at Hof University of Applied Sciences

Languages are the gateway to the world - essential for an academic career. That is why Hof University, with its international orientation, places particular emphasis on excellent language training. The extensive language offerings are complemented by intercultural courses that prepare you to move confidently and diplomatically in foreign cultural environments. Eight full-time lecturers, supported by mainly native-speaking teaching assistants, offer a wide-ranging language program. The majority of the courses offered are aimed at obtaining the UNIcert® foreign language certificate (levels I - IV), a certificate recognized outside universities as proof of foreign language proficiency. The levels offered range from beginner to near native speaker. Classes are held in interactive small groups. Courses are offered with a sufficient minimum number of participants. External interested parties may attend if there are still course places available.
