Hof as a founding city
The city of Hof supports start-ups and businesses in a variety of ways. For example, the city is one of the sponsors of the Einstein1 digital start-up center. Another piece of the puzzle is the Hof funding base of the LfA Förderbank Bayern in Hof as a point of contact for corporate financing in the areas of start-ups, growth, innovation, energy, environment and stabilization.
Together with partners, the city of Hof in Hochfranken organizes the annual Gründerbunch as a networking meeting for start-ups and young entrepreneurs.
The cultural and creative industries are a sector of the economy that is growing in importance. Here, too, there are often many start-ups. The Creative Lounge, organized annually by the economic development agencies in Hochfranken, brings this sector together to exchange experiences. At Bavarian level, bayernkreativ is available as a partner and at federal level, the Federal Government's Initiative for Cultural and Creative Industries.
