Adjustment of the fee schedule for municipal school rooms, sports facilities and artificial ice rink

At the most recent meeting of the main and finance committee, an adjustment to the fee schedule for school rooms, gymnasiums and sports halls as well as outdoor sports facilities was decided.

Changes have also been made to the admission prices for the municipal artificial ice rink "Am Eisteich".

In 2012, 20218, 2019 and 2022, the committee already revised the fee regulations. In view of the price increases since 2019 and as part of the necessary budget consolidation, the user fees have now increased by around 17%. This adjustment will come into force on September 1, 2024.

In addition, from January 1, 2025, the usage fee for all municipal sports facilities, including the indoor school pool, will be subject to the standard tax rate of currently 19 percent, in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act on the expansion of public sector sales taxation.

It should be noted that the tax exemption for municipal school rooms will continue to apply, while the currently applicable VAT will be added to the cost rates of the fee schedule for gymnasiums and sports halls, indoor school swimming pools and outdoor sports facilities from January 1, 2025.

The cost rates of the fees generally cover the expenses for heating, lighting, electricity, cleaning, waste collection and other ancillary costs. Any consumption of materials will be charged separately.
