Lecture: The secret eavesdroppers from the Kornberg tower

The city of Hof invites you to an exciting lecture on regional history.

On May 10, 2024 at 4 p.m., citizens will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the times of the Cold War in the multi-purpose room of the Technical Town Hall, Karolinenstraße 17 in Hof.

Former professional soldier Dieter Jenke will talk about the creation and construction of the military listening tower on the Großer Kornberg. He will talk about his life and eavesdropping in the Kornberg tower. Rare images, audio and video recordings will be shown, which had a serious background at the time, but also made people smile.
